About

Jessica with hands in anjali mudra bowing toward singing bowls.

In 12 years of practice and over 10 years of teaching, my practice and my teachings have evolved. I had three children, I learned new styles of yoga, I found new teachers, I returned to my old teachers. I experienced love and loss and life in a pandemic. I learned Reiki and how to work with singing bowls. Life is an adventure on and off the mat, and when you practice with me, it is an adventure.

I encourage my students to sit with the comforts and discomforts of humanity, to connect with nature, to find rhythm in nature that matches their own, and to practice self-compassion and self-love. I have learned that working to love yourself and all of your darkness is the foundation of social justice work.

In my classes I offer therapeutic yoga, and I love to incorporate functional and playful movement, balancing work, core stabilization, and strengthening! I also include sound and energy work. I am open to booking private sessions in yoga and sound therapy.

I teach classes virtually and at different studios around town, and I periodically offer special events like Full Moon Yoga, workshops on creating ritual, connecting to nature, and using yoga for effective communication. You can follow me on social media to find my latest schedule.

Life will continue to evolve as will my practice and teachings, and I would love for you to join me on that adventure.
