About

Jessica with hands in anjali mudra bowing toward singing bowls.

With over 18 years of practice and more than 16 years of teaching, my relationship with yoga has evolved alongside my life. I had three children, I learned new styles of yoga, I found new teachers, I returned to my old teachers. I experienced love and loss and life in a pandemic. I learned Reiki and how to work with singing bowls. Life is an adventure on and off the mat, and when you practice with me, it is an adventure.

I invite my students to gently explore both the comforts and discomforts of being human, to reconnect with the rhythms of nature, and to cultivate self-compassion and self-love. I believe that learning to embrace all parts of ourselves — especially the shadow — creates space for personal growth and healing, and it is foundational for meaningful and sustainable social justice work

My classes blend therapeutic yoga, nervous system support, and functional, playful movement. You can expect elements of balance, core stabilization, and strength-building, alongside sound and energy work to support deeper integration.

I offer both virtual and in-person classes at studios around town, as well as private sessions in yoga and sound therapy. I also host special events throughout the year, including Full Moon Yoga, workshops on finding ritual, connecting to nature, and using yoga as a tool for effective communication.

Life will continue to evolve as will my practice and teachings, and I would love for you to join me on that adventure.
